June (2007) was the second month that Business Twins was running at 100%. We believe that we achieved some pretty good traffic stats as shown from Google Analytics for our second month running. However, we do believe that our efforts could be stronger towards marketing our blog and getting it exposed in more places. We will definitely work harder this next month to gain more traffic and promote community involvement. We have yet to provide advertising opportunities on Business Twins, but we have future plans to do so when we believe the right time comes.

Earnings for June (2007)
This is the first month we’re posting our earnings made with Business Twins so there are no other statistics to compare. We only had 2 forms of advertisements running on Business Twins. June (2007) was the second month we had Google Adsense running on our website. Google Adsense generated $4.14 for the month with only 8 clicks and an eCPM of $3.04. We also had Kontera running for the second month, which generated only $0.19 with only 3 clicks and an eCPM of $0.13. We did pretty well with Adsense and hope to improve the earnings for the month of July. Our total revenues tallied up to be $4.33 for the month of June (2007). Our net income would be $-5.62 since we’re paying $9.95 for our web hosting plan from Host Gator.

Blog Traffic for June (2007)
The blog traffic for June (2007) consisted of a total of 573 visits coming from 397 absolute visitors and 1,063 pageviews. The average number of pageviews from each visitor was 1.86 pages and the average time spent on Business Twins was 1 minute and 44 seconds. The bounce rate on Business Twins was 67.71%, which isn’t bad, but can be improved for the future. Lastly, 66.67% of our traffic came from first time visitors. We feel that the blog traffic is increasing at a fairly decent rate. In May we only had 56 visits coming from 31 absolute unique visitors and 120 pageviews. However, the average number of pageviews from each visitor was 2.14 pages and the average time spent on Business Twins was 2 minutes and 52 seconds.

Expectations for July (2007)
The expectations for July (2007) are quite simple. We wish to increase our revenues, increase blog traffic, decrease our bounce rate, and possibly add in one more form of advertisement. To accomplish these expectations we will spend more time building relations with other bloggers through guest posts and commentating on business related blogs. We will also set a goal to make at least $1.00 dollar a day, which we believe is achievable and attainable.
