
Sirius reports a 9 cent loss on shares compared to a 17 cent loss last year
The popular Sirius Satellite Radio reported a loss of $134.1 million, which is a lot better than their reported loss of $$237.8 million last year at this time. Since this time last year, Sirius Satellite Radio has added half a million new subscribers and their revenue grew about 50 percent. The popular satellite radio company serves over 7 million subscribers and expects the numbers to keep rising. Today (July 30, 2007), Sirius shares rose 4 cents for a total of $3.01 a share. By the end of the year (2007) Sirius Satellite Radio expects to be finished combining their services with XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc.
